Trailblazer eFans always turn off at 189

I'm running a 2006 trailblazer I6 in a supra. I have eFans running fine using the discrete setting -except they don't turn off when I want. No matter what I put in the Fan Desired % table, they always turn off at 189 F.

I monitored the pid for desired fan and it appears to "latch" at the value that turned the fans on. Fan "on" is exactly per the table. My cal and log demonstrating this phenomenom are attached.

Any help?

I installed my efans this weekend. I'm having somewhat similar issues except mine don't ever go off once I turn the AC on. If I don't turn the AC on, They turn on and off just like it is programmed to do. If I logged fan state, it would hang after I turned the AC on.

Between your experience and mine...I'm starting to think that HPtuners is unproven for this application and fan control.

Did you ever figure this out?

Just FYI, when I zeroed out my AC table, my fans always shut off at 189 also...doesn't matter what is in the tables. Weird bugs in this thing.
