Amazing... it's simply amazing that all the HPTuners news comes from other forums.

Has anyone seen or heard of said promotion?

    Re: VCM Suite v2.0 Info

I'm looking forward to the release. I just hate that since I was one of the early adapters for getting on the HPT bandwagon ... and the *ONE* featue I've been wanting (the ability to compare tunes) will be in this release ... but since I bought it so early on in development, I won't get the free upgrade.

I can't afford another $200 just to be able to compare a tune.

Yup, those of us who have been loyal the longest won't get a free upgrade. Those of us who have been loyal the longest didn't get TWO cars on their cable. Sometimes I feel like we're the ones getting pissed on.

Don't get me wrong, I love the product and appreciate the free upgrades up through 1.7. It's just that I see everyone else getting 2 cars and getting upgraded to verson 2.0 which has been promised for so long ... and I feel like I got screwed out of my $500. I didn't need the tuner at the time and could have waited longer to buy it. But, I decided to go ahead and get it to give "the new guys" a better foothold in the tuning software world.

I've been waiting to order until it is released, which I thought would have been a while back. I'm just afraid of ordering it and then a couple days later it is released and I have to send it in to get updated. Plus I want to see all the new options before ordering to make sure I get exactly what I want.

    Re: VCM Suite v2.0 Info

i guess there would be a few people waiting , pity we cant run a poll here perhaps on ls1tech ?

    could have questions like :

how many are waiting for V2 before HPT purchase
how many are waiting for LS2 support
how many are waiting for V2 before support renewal
how many want a usb cable with no adaptors (i.e waiting to update cable)

does this mean those whos support has ran out due to you not relasing it in time get to upgrade for less then the $100 upgrade fee??

if you could do something like $50 to upgrade id be in for that instead of just keeping my 1.7

Hate to ruffle any feathers, but "very soon" has definitely not been soon in any way. HPT is doing the right thing as far as fixing the 2.0 pay to upgrade date, I just am really losing confidence since we've heard nothing concrete. Anything? :-[
