The software is already installed, hptuner installation cd still in my laptop. When I plug in the MPVI, it will not install. Says there is not a driver for the device. The wizard screen will not even come up. I've went into my device manager and uninstalled/reinstalled, no luck. When I right click the device in the control panel it says needs troubleshooting, try and apply the fix, still nothing. Had it search online for the latest software for my device, no luck. Help please????

Sounds like you are running a 64 bit operating system, did you try the 64 bit drivers http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5228 ?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
