speed limiter or rev limiter problem

4th gear 6k ~120mph

I can spin past 6k in 1,2, & 3rd.... But she was cutting off on the dyno at 6k in 4th

Seppo, I just put a new update on the customer login page for you to download. Your version may be missing one of the rev limiter/speed limiters. This was an issue with some of our earlier V6 software.

I think I am missing this too....Mine cuts out in 3rd. A4 btw..

These issues will be fixed with our 1.4.0 release which will happen mid next week.

No dice on the update fixing the 6k rev limit in 4th... Tested it out today on an 'abandoned air strip in mexico'. I really hope 1.4 comes out and fixes this before 7/31. I'm getting on the dyno again that day. Just a base line run though. Can't afford more tuning time.

I'll be rather frustrated if I still can't rev past 6k in 4th.

But anyways I'm gonna rev the poo out of this thing. Gonna change out valve springs and rev to 6500.

Did you get the fuel/spark cut offs and stuff editied too?
that may be it?

from what I can see with the tuning we can only run the motor up to 6400.. i would imagine we can trick the pcm to run higher.. but god only knows what thats gunna do when you get past 6400..

I have identified what i think is another two limiters that will solve the issue. I will send you guys back some stuff to test.
