Re: Enhanced I/O Interface recall / repair

They are shipping it back via UPS ground. I dropped mine off at the post office on 3/14 and sent it 3 day priority. It got there thursday evening and they shipped it back out UPS ground and I recieved it 6 days later. I'm happy to have my HP tuners back up and running.

Thanks to the support staff at HP tuners.

Casper's got mine on Monday the 21st and it's not back yet, one day ground to my house. I dropped Chris an E-mail this morning looking for an update, but I didn't hear back yet. I'd love to know how much longer. Thanx in advance, Jeff

    It's worth the wait.......
I know I know, I missed mine too, when it was away for repair...
I felt like an addict must feel.....
But, I just did a long 50 min drive into work, & it didn't hic-up
at all, not even once, like it used to do.......

    Now I can't wait for 2.0....

Same here! Mine was also received on the 21st, but I have not heard anything. I have an appointment for a dyno tune for Friday, 4/01. I have to drive 300 miles to get there and I was hoping to have mine back by now.

That's good to hear that you have no more hic-ups, I hope the recall solves my hic-up issue as well. Looking forward to mine coming back home. Thanks.

Re: Enhanced I/O Interface recall / repair

Got mine back today. I hadn't considered that Casper was closed for Good Friday. Anyway what threw me for a bit of a loop is they had always E-mailed a tracking number, so I was assuming no tracking number no ship! So anyway, Thanx Guys! I'd much rather have a working unit after a short delay! Jeff

No, sorry. Turnaround is not instant either so it still requires shipping.

Re: Enhanced I/O Interface recall / repair

I have not been on, nor used my tuner for many months. I see this post, and it disappoints me that HP tuners can not offer a little something(Anything) for this inconvienience. When I originally bought mine, I thought the customer service was second to none, not second to one. I really dont want to pay the $99 to resubscribe to updates if this is the start of more inconvienences that cant be compensated. I bought hp tuners because I thought my other tuning software customer service was not up to par, now Im having doubts.

Actually, these are being designed now. We are going to tool for them since there seems to be a rather large demand. Only thing we have left to do is spec the terminal we want to use!

If anyone has any other questions, send them to the email I had listed above.
