    Bench Programming Harness

    Great website ans info.

Have extra connectors/terminals and want to make up a bench harness for the GM E38 ECM and T42 TCM.

    Does anybody have a schematic?

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Thank you for the schematic!

    Have some questions:

    1) What does V1 and V2 columns represent?

    2) E38 controller pin #13 should be pin #73 - ground. Typo?

    3) T42 controller why use pin #11 accessory wake up serial data?
Pin #11 is used when key is placed into the accessory position.
Why use it when you have 12v switched at pin #31 already?

    Thank you for your help.

1.) V1 and V2 are EFI Live interfaces

2.) & 3.) All info is from EFIs site I would belive it to be accurate

you probably miss the Can+ and Can- pins in your OBD2 connector

Cavity 2: Class 2 serial data (purple wire)

    Cavity 4,5: ground (black)

    Cavity 6: CAN+ (tan/blk)

    Cavity 14: CAN- (tan)

    Cavity 16: battery (orange)
