This file shows negative timing real bad in all RPM ranges.
Anyone with a 1997 PCM logging and can verify the scanner software is working correct for this OS?
I have checked it with my 03 truck and it logged just fine.

It's very common for scanners to show ignition timng advance as negative on 1997 V6 vehicles. The timing might be 18 degrees BTDC, but the scanner will show -18. This is completely normal, but I've only seen it on 1997's.

Hey Scott, thanks for the reply and vertication on that.
Do you notice also in that file that the MAP is stuck at 13.8
On this car I did find a possible MAP wiring issue however.
