INFO: HP works on MacBook Air 13 / win7 64bit

Just wanted to let other know some info in case they have a similar machine or are considering getting one:

I use HP among other tuning software on both my Mac Book Pro 17 and now on my Mac Book Air 13. I did partion my drives so I can run a "real" install of Windows (then use a free boot menu called refit to choose what I want at boot up).

I put Windows 7 32 bit on my pro before I had a copy of 64 bit. I installed 64bit 7 pro on my new Air and HP tuners works good using the special Vista HP tuner drivers.

I have not personally tried HP via parallels or any of the other Windows emulator type software...

This may already be known info, if so, sorry for the repost... just thought I'd share that HP works on a lot of Mac hardware

I can say with certainty that HPT works using a Win7 32 bit VMWare Fusion Image. No problems reading/writing to the PCM, although it does take a couple of seconds for the USB passthrough to recognize the HPT dongle and attach it to the VM. Using an 11" Mac Book Air and 10.6

Yeah I've been running a dual boot on my MacBook Pro 13" for a little while now. Win7 64bit and HPT works like a charm on it. I just wish Win7 wasn't so hardware stringent. All the processing in the background reall kills battery life and makes my machine run hot. Gotta love the backlit keyboard for night time tuning!!!

I guess I could go into the settings and disable a bunch of stuff but haven't got around to it.
