can i use a tune from a different car in mine?

i have a 2001 malibu i dropped a 3400 into, bought suite to make it run correctly. a few months later im having some tranny issues. i picked up a used tranny from a wrecked car and will be putting in new solenoids and filter.

the trans came from a 2003 grand am gt, it has a different gear ratio. what i want toknow is if i can download a factory tune from the repository and burn it into my car without having bcm, vats or other issues rather than the confusing mess of changing ratios and scaling shift points, etc?

Use the compare feature and then copy over the differences. Should only take a few minutes to do.
