Thread: optimum engine torque table

    optimum engine torque table

    on hptuners changed gmpp tune. what is everyone's opinion on this? keep stock tables or change when tuned...discuss

    so keep the stock table or use the gmpp table when you are using gmpp tune with hp tune on top
    '09 cobalt ss. hahn intercooler, intake, cp,catless downpipe, ottp stage 2 mounts, hptuners, gmpp 3bar tmap sensors, hybrid hp tuned

    I played with the optimum torque table a bit and never noticed any difference.

    Only thing a few have done is raise the highest load column over like 4k to 100%. I never noticed any difference though.

    Put those 100%'s at 50% and you'll see what that table does. Watch what boost duty cycle does. Both the Optimum Engine Torque and Lambda Efficiency tables do have an effect and can be optimized for your particular needs. Neither of those tables are stock on my tune.
