No, It was done at Jesse's (Wait4me) You could probably call him but it is hard to get a hold of him. I would also like to know how the heck it pulled that. Looking at the dyno it also was only to 6475.

I don't know anything about EFI live but I am pretty sure that is what software was used.

If it was anyone else's dyno I'd just say that it was BS. I'm still not convinced at this point but I don't think it was intentional deception.

I also would petition jessie's customer to take his car to a dynojet.

    1/4 times dont lie

A couple of quarter mile runs would give some real world feedback as to what kind of power is being made.
To move a 4400lb car to an E.T. of 12.10 at 112MPH you would need 490RWHP.
Of course that is best case figured on an et calculator but realistically he should be running 12.30's or better @ 110+ MPH if those numbers are accurate.

Ok, the back up Dyno is lower and much more like it should be for power.

He is going to take it back to Jesse for further tuning as you can see his AFR is WAY rich.

Oh yeah, that is a little more believeable... at least to me. The other dyno looked like crank readings.

Bump for anyone that has info for the new Spectre intake, as I will be taking my car out of storage this week.

What kind of info do you need?

Has anyone perfected a tune yet accounting for MAF and AFR? If so, on what gas, E10 and octane, with what other mods?

    Tuners,

I have a HP Tuners, and a good baseline and modified tune (Thanks PGA,) but my question is: What Air / Fuel ratio kit are you using, and where did you mount the display? I want to get started on tuning, but cant seem to find any info on this. Thanks!

NGK AFX.... nothing but good things are being said about these meter. One thing is for certain, the Spectre Intake flows considerably more than the stock intake and the MAF needs plenty of adjustment.

He is base lining off my tune so his MAF should at least be in the ballpark.

Don't need to mount a display.. In fact, it'd be much better if the output from the wideband was logged via hpt.. so that everything 'lines up'. Wish HPT had the ability to parse/accept input data from external serial devices like most wbo2's digital output. But, thats not really an option yet, so keep an eye out for ground offsets..

I have a 2008 with the GM performance exhaust and a Spectre intake. With out a tune, mine dyno'd at about 396 horsepower. I never got the replacement sleeve, and occasionally get the lean bank errors. I just got my HPTuners interface in and am looking forward to playing with mine. Learned last night that after every full read, I need to pull the TCM fuse or disconnect the battery.

    Welcome to the forum!

You don't need to pull any fuses. Don't worry about that.

Have you been to the cadillacforum for the STS-V yet?

Both times I did a full read on mine, it would lose communication with the TCM and I would have to unplug the battery.
This is my second STS-V. My 2006 only dyno'd around 340 with the GM performance exhaust and stock intake. I noticed quite a few suttle differences between my 2008 and my 2006. I understand that the computers are different. Are the tunes different?
I have lurked on the Cadillac Forum. I occasionally posted info that I thought would be helpful.
I am reluctant to just download someone else's flash and flash it on to my car. I prefer to study others work, and apply it to mine step by step so I can quantify the results and learn from it. I think one of my first projects will be to tune my MAF.

Huh, never had a problem. At least you only have to do that once.
