    waiting for firmware

    i just bought the HP software with the MVPI pro and it will not data log. i am using the latest beta, 2.23.207. i am counting on using this tool and need to know how this will be fixed. it looks like there has been a lot of talk by HP but no fix. did i miss something?

    Yes, it works; only wideband doesn't and Keith said he is working on that.........

    Just received my MPVI Pro SN:110xxxxx and using 2.23.488. & Stand alone data logging not working. When I hold down the button for a few seconds all I get is a solid red err light.

    My SN# starts with 1155. I am wondering what i need to do to fix it?

    Same problem is there a fix yet

    I received an email from tech support that a fix is in the works . Same issue the rest of you had/ chip changed. My S/N is 119xxxxxx Date 2/06/12 Firmware 114
    Is this an identical issue though another chip change? I was told it would be next month before a fix is out. Anyone having my problem now with a unit manufactured in Feb 2012?

    Correct, same issue, new chip.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Just wanted to inform those with newer interfaces like me, that could not stand alone data log that the newest beta fixed this problem, at least for me.
    Bought my interface new a couple months ago and it didn't work from the get go. I just received the latest beta a couple days ago VCM Suite 2.23.660, and now stand alone data logging works. It logs at about the same speed as my laptop logs so I'm happy about that.. now just waiting for the analog inputs to be enabled for stand alone logging.

    Sorry to bring up an older thread, but I'm searching for answers. I just got my interface a few days ago, (serial 1211xxx) could this be the reason I can't seem to stand alone datalog?

    Mine works with 1118xxxxxx. Running 2.23.560, not at my computer but I think that's it. Still no EIO standalone though . I just velcroed my net book to my dash now I have a second gauge cluster that looks bada$$. Loving 2.23 even with the minor bugs. But I report all of them hoping that I am of some assistance.

    The Newer Beta has both EIO and Standalone working.
