Standalone logging not working.

Hi Bill, I'm currently at work and don't have my serial number with me but I'm quite sure my MPVI unit is affected by the CPU name change issue. I bought it via Summit around October 2010.

Is your fix available in a firmware 114 download like I saw elsewhere on the forums or do I need to download 2.23 beta to get the fix?

one i have for beta was released april 1st IIRC so your probably gonna have to pm bill for a new beta link to download... one i have is 2.23.250

^ Yea, that far back I think it was all disabled. Now only standalone AFR logging is disabled.

I have the same problem. I just today downloaded the latest software but MPVI is not working alone (which was the reason I bought Pro version). Is there a fix?

If its beta version the only thing needed is for HPT to re-enable it. The more people who ask for this the more likely they will get around to it I think.

No it is not beta version. I have done exactly like in the instructions and everything else works. Now if I read there are these problems with some serial numbers but others work my question is why are we not getting a new MPVI unit??

Because a new mpvi unit will not fix the issue, the issue is the chip maker we use no longer use the same chip id, we needed to update the firmware which we did a few months ago.

I forgot, mine works but afr error does not. Stand alone data logging is useless to me if I can't log afr error. I hope hpt puts this high on their priority list.

I have the newest beta, as of yesterday, and my standalone datalogging still will not work. Am I missing something?

And So Everyone Knows Before You Can Stand Alone Datalog With Your Mpvi Pro You Must Connect It From Your Laptop To A Vehicle And Set Up The Settings You Wish To Use So It Will Know What You Are Trying To Do With It.
