I recently setup my AEM WB, and have it configured in HPT but am having an issue. The Gauge itself is showing a constant 14.8 and HPT is showing a 12.xx-14.8, which it jumps in between in a constant "sweep". I have the white wire to EIO 1, black to EIO 5 and the red connected into a cigarette power.
I've attached the config and last test log.
In the log I go WOT at around 3.20

I would start by running the black to a chassis ground, since that's what the instructions say.

I've done both, should have said that in the OP. No matter if it is EIO 5 or chassis ground the result is the same.
