ive got autoxray scan tool and autotap 2.05 and g-tech and pico scope
this is kinda loosing me all i want to do is change fan settings.

download stock program, edit, upload new program, done.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Definetly read the help file, it's a pretty good read.
To summarize though:
VCM Flash -- use this to read the PCM and upload new tunes
VCM Scanner -- Use this to read DTCs, scan parameters while driving, etc... (you'll need this data to dialt he car in)
VCM Editor -- use this to modifyt he .bin file after you download it using VCM Flash
Fan settings are under Edit -> System -> General
