cam transition and crank cyl count in hpt

There's a ls1 swap car which breaks up (loses a lot of power) around 5200 rpm on the dyno and on the street. I have a log of the cam signal transitions and crank cylinder count (see attachment). This is a standard OS tune with the MAF failed to put it in SD mode. LT trims are disabled, but ST is enabled.

    - Around the start of the pull 3000 rpm, 100 kpa, 100% TPS the crank cylinder count stops counting up and starts going down.
    - Around 4100 rpm the cam transition signals stop counting up.
    - After the pull these signals start counting back up again.

Is this normal? If not, could this be the cause of the problem at 5200 rpm?

Looks like the same sensor values happens on my ls6 swap car which doesn't have the problem.
