Well I took the plung,...... again. I originally purchased HPT last year, Ver 1.4. Sold it (half because I bought a new truck, 05 Silvy, the other half because someone needed the 03 Silvy HPT software, worked out good for both of us ;D) and promised to buy HPT again when it included the integrated wide-band features, which wasn't long after, Ver 1.5.
Well, then I heard about EFI Live, soooo, I waited until EFI's release date and subsequent user feedback.
and after alot of research, and "pros and cons" evaluation, I chose HPTuners once again.
Reason? I believe that whatever the current HP Tuners software gives up to EFI Live, when version 2.0 comes out it will equal or better EFI Live's software package.
The other main reason was this very forum. EFI's forum can't compete IMO. HP Tuners has the most active user forum and feedback, that I can tell, in the industry, and was the final factor in deciding to stay HPT.
That said, I ordered the full show, HPT Scanner/Tuner, Enhanced I/O, and 3 PigTails.
Thanks again for a great product! and thanks for a great forum! which is as much the individual user's contributions as it is HPT direct support
