Problem flashing in the same model year.

I was trying to flash my GM stock Z06 tune onto another 2002 Z06 with a jacked up tune. My intnet was to flash it to stock, and start from scratch.

I was unable to do so with the software. In looking at the checksums I believe my code for the stock z06 must be a slightly older version, than the car I tried to flash it to.

Is it common to have this happen, and is there anything that can be done about it? Is this only something that can be done in the Tuner/Pro version.

I can read the tune from either car, I just can't move the tune back and forth between them.

i assume the Operating System ID's are different for each vehicle? If you have the pro version (which everyone will have in 1.6) you can use the Rewrite Entire VCM feature to make them identical (if you are sure they are compaitble with both vehicles).
