I finally broke down and bought hpt and in the next week I should have my truck done. It's a 00 silverado with 4.3 that I put a lq4 and 4l80 in. I was told to do a total rewrite with a stock tune from an 02 with a 6.0 & 4L80 which is (os 12212156) I was told it was better. So am I going to have to licence that tune aswell as my truck and do a complete rewrite?
liscense your ecu vin and you can download the stock flash for that truck for free off the repository in the coustomer center
