Exclamation limit power on take off

ok guys i am in need of your help. i did use the search button but could not find a diffent answer. i have an 87 chevy 2wd pick with a lq9 swap 4l80e and radix pushing 8lbs. when i mash the throttle it does nothing but roast the tires.
can i do something in the tune to limit the power on take off and then have the good power on the top end? my 60fts run around 2.3 - 2.8 and yes i have slicks as well as traction bars. i just need to limit the power and pick it all back up. is this possible? where do i go?

Search for a thread I started entitled "poor mans racelogic". Its in the 4th gen section but I believe you have the same table. I never finished developing the methodology to figure out the limit of traction was but by lowering the max torque vs RPM vs gear you can effectively limit power in first and second if you need it there too.
