To have the ability to log data from the EIO without being connected to the aldl connector. Eg; clicking play will start recording EIO inputs without having to connect to the pcm.

Not with the current hardware.

Not with the current firmware actually for standalone mode.

If you're using VCM Scanner though, this is something I wanted to add long ago just haven't had the time. I do expect it to be added when I go over a lot of the VCM Scanner todo list though.

This is what I was looking for.. too log EIO in the scanner without being connected to the aldl.. would come in handy.
