I would guess so, seeing as they won't send your new cable out until they receive your old one. Not sure if that would apply to buying now and shipping after the Nov 12th cutoff date for the cheap upgrade though. I would hope so.

That's what I figured... I just wasn't sure if they're pinned out any different to support the added features. I'm not up on the wiring/operation of the software.

Love the VCM controlls, BTW. Looks like it'll be VERY handy for locking 3rd on dyno runs. (instead of compiling a new .bin)

I had heard something about a grace period for those people who's 6 month upgrade subscription has lapsed, since v1.5 took a while longer than expected. Is there any truth to this? Or do we need to re-subscribe?

No, I dont think itll let you edit them... And even still, you wouldnt be able to re upload them.

I think they just allow you to see what other people did. Lets say that you just put a tr224 cam in your car... and theres someone who posted a bin with a tr224 cam, but in another year car, youll be able to view their bin to see what changes they had to make.
