This is great. I just sent a paypal payment for 85.00 to [email protected]. I will be sending in the black interface box tomorrow morning using Priority mail insured with the post office. Thanks again guys for making this awesome software package and continue to make it better.

I currently have 98-04 C5's in my pro package but once in a while I'll be e-mailed an F-body .bin file.Originally Posted by GuitsBoy

Your cables are generic off-the-shelf, of no value
to HPTuners; I'm sure they have one or two
lying about. Just something to get lost in the
shuffle.
Just the black box. Although I'm sure if you send the cables, you'll get them back too.

Anyone recieved an email or should we start a 1.5 email thread ;D ;D
nope, not yet, this is our 1.5 thread. I have a feeling the emails won't go out until tomorrow as that is the time they will be offering the 1.5 software and EIO cable for sale.

I have to say hptuners is the best thing to come around since sliced bread...I was worried about doing my ls1 to s-10 swap coming up but now with the vin change capabilites the main thing i was worried about shouldnt be as much of a factor, not to mention cutting the guys that have had faith in your product from the beginning is as good as it gets...then the actual features, the bin reading, the vcm controls not even to mention the several 0-5v inputs you guys are putting on the box...im about to cream myself just thinking of the possibilities and whats to come next.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
A wise man once said "google it"
Ok. I'm confused.
I've been waiting several weeks to order HP Tuners based on the features and enhanced I/O capabilities available in ver. 1.5. I saw no need to order and then have to upgrade within a week or two.
So, if I order ver. 1.5 with enchanced I/O on or before 10/29/04, what's the price?
My e-mail has changed since my initial purchase. Who do I need to PM about this??
Thanks
Well I just sent my payment. Have we heard a turn around time :-/
They have been saying that they would make it very affordable for people who currently own the hardware since July when they announced it.
I typically have seen quite the opposite for most software/hardware upgrades. Once you own it you get a better price than just buying later with the newer features. Just look at Microsoft or Adobe. The upgrade price is typically half what the full price is for a new product.
So can we order 1.4 and upgrade at the end of the week? Seems a little backward to me as well. I totally agree with corpsvette.
As far as the Microsoft/Adobe goes, if you purchased the old equipment new 2 years ago (say $500), and added upgrade cost (+$100, +$100) it would be far more than just buying new today ($500 once). That's really how it should be here as well.
Nonetheless, the software looks impressive...and I'm glad to be surprised with many new extras. Good work.

Chris, Keith, you said we should put insurance on it. But for how much? I surely don't trust any of the shipping companies and if the black box IS lost, how much is it going to cost us to replace? Also, what's the cost on the cables that run from the ALDL connector to the black box? I want to relocate the connection for my T/A, but I use HPT scanner on my 96' car too.

Please insure it for the total amount of a new unit purchased outright.
We have been saying that existing customers will receive generous discounts to upgrade.
I have received many many e-mails today and am responding them as quick as I can.
We thank you all for your support!
