2 bar SD map sensor reading incorrectly.

I have uploaded a copy of my Scanner Config file. My issue is that the map sensor reading isn't correct.

I have a 2 bar SD tune on the car, 2 bar 0-5v GM sensor 2000 camaro ss OS.

(91kap is correct for my altitude)

On manifold pressure SAE it reads 91kpa key on car off
on Manifold 2 bar KPA it reads 41kpa key on car off

If I leave both in the table display then my graph reads 61kpa.

I deleted the MAF and the Original Manifold pressure as per the instruction sheet, but I must be over looking something. I am dynoing tomorrow at noon- so I need the fixed ASAP. thanks for any help.

The voltage reading stays the same in both cases, I would like to leave it as the one that reads 91kpa, but it only goes till 105kpa.

I installed the beta version last night and now it reads nothing for the map sensor 2 bar. if I install the regular map it reads 91kpa key on not running, and 2.0 volts on map. That is the correct kpa and volts. dyno in 2 hours... ARG!

You still didnt post the tune but I'm assuming you've applied the 2 bar OS and did a write entire?

yes, I did that last summer, I'll do it in this post. sorry. I just installed beta 2.23 thinking it might help and the "map 2 bar" changed to 0, with 2.0volts still. I changed back to 2.22 and it still reads 0kpa and 2.0 volts

I'm not totally versed in 3rd gen 2 bar but I see in the tune you have the map linear and offset settings in engine diag/airflow. And since you have those configured for a 2 bar MAP I don't believe you need to use the 2 bar MAP PID. Just use the regular MAP PID. Am I correct in saying that the regular MAP PID is reading correctly with the 2 bar MAP installed?

Do you have a custom boost PID created? Or MAF reading still in the scanner? If so delete those two as they will cause funky readings with your MAP.

In the end I played around a bunch before I got my 2 bar reading correctly. Good luck.

Bill - with the regular map SAE in the tuner it reads perfectly, but it only reads to 105kpa. Any thoughts to get that higher, right now I can't get it to read at all and I am 30 minutes from cancelling my 2 month wait for a dyno appt.

Cancer - I have the MAF removed and not sure how to make a custom pid.

I have team viewer if either of you want to log onto my computer and try and fix it while I am connected to my car

I did another "Write entire" anda now it is going betweem 78-82, That should be close enough to dyno, but the map SAE pid(1bar) still reads 91kpa, how can I write my own pid using sensor .30 or whatever?

So after the write entire the built-in MAP PID shows 78-82 with the 2 bar MAP installed and the engine off?

Hmmm. You could add ~10 to the MAP offset. But Thats changing it by a lot.

What I dont get is why the 1 bar sensor is reading correctly even though the settings in your tune are for the 2 bar.

Had a 2000 F-Body with a 3 bar OS, the Map also read 0 KPA, key on, engine off, but was correct with the engine running. The 2 volts sounds right for your altitude. What does the 2 bar read at idle?

Now it's either reading 0 or -88 in the graph window, still 91kpa in the pid list.

Sounds like your graph is not looking at the right PID.

not sure why it is wrong, we just dynoed with map (volts) and used that for boost correction. What string would I need to write my own pid for my map using the voltage?
