    Buy a Cobalt.

JK, you can tune one to actually do fairly respectable, but it won't make near as much power as it could while getting decent fuel economy.
Gray Ghost- The abomination. 2007 Chevrolet Silverado CCSB. 98mm turbo, nitrous, 428LSX, Rossler 80E with a brake. Finally finished. 23 psi, no numbers, Slow as hell.

PBM G8- Aluminum 364, twin Precision 67/66 turbos, 6L90 trans swap, CTS-V/Vaporworx fuel system, slowly making progress.

Dads 2011 CTS-V- Stock bottom end, stock heads, LS9 cam, pullies, ported blower, ported TB, D3 goodies, and lots of nitrous.
    618/618 motor
    906/862 spray

    Caterpillar 50 Forklift- Duramax swap

If you make short trips in town, below tcc lock up speeds, you won't get much better than 13 mpg or so. I used to work 7 miles from home and got 12-13. Now I work 50 miles from home and I get 15-16. I'm awd with a 3600 stall.

Get an electric radiator fan. I saw 1-1.5 mpg improvement, which was then offset by my stall converter install.
