Question for a Friend about VATS and BCM?

A friend of mine is putting an ls1 in a sand rail and wants to know if HP Tuners is able to disable the VATS system and also delete the BCM codes since he won't be using that. The motor is out of an '01SS.

Under system can I choose "none" for VATS control? Will that allow the engine to run without the chipped key?

Re: Question for a Friend about VATS and BCM?

Will the computer freak out about not seeing the BCM and throw codes and possible set the light? Can BCM codes be deleted or are the codes in the BCM->as in if it isn't there it can't set codes.

I guess my question is about if there is any way to delete "U" codes? Like say it sets a U1000, will it affect the way the engine runs or set a light?

My bad Chris, didn't realize that I posted this in two different spots. That's what I get when I "play" on the computer at "work" .
