    lb7 tune

i am looking for a tune safe for a stock tranny. Mainly looking for better fuel mileage with decent power. My truck does idle quite a bit because i work in construction. Any input would be great and i also ocassionaly tow about 12000 lbs, thanks

Do a search for the Mcrat 20/20 tune(google) and timing calculator how to in this section, should accomplish what you are after.

Probably should check out a Duramax forum before you get too far along there.

Stock airbox will be fine 4" exhaust helps out. But the 5 spd allison is hurting with much more then 80hp make sure you lift on the 4 to 5 shift. Most need to think what they want in the long run a good tune will make a truck so much nicer to drive.
