Delco fuel pump for LNF's - Will it solve our fuel supply problems?

Wudya think guys, will this pump supply the volume and 3000psi pressures we need to run big turbos and E85? I'm thinking about giving it a try. There's only 3 left though so if it works only two more of you will also be able to run one of these sweet pumps.

I doubt it. I don't think that is a valid part number or photo, the LNF HP fuel pump is 12625764 or ACD #EP2131 and looks like this. It is made by Bosch (yes Bosch parts also have ACD numbers too)

Awww geez guys, I was kidding!

I put pumps like that in about 30 years ago. It's for some old carbureted motor, not sure which since pumps looked like that for decades and on millions of cars. Trivia here... some Chrysler motors had a little pushrod that actually went between the cam lobe and this kind of pump arm. If you weren't careful when changing the pump, that rod would fall out and go into the pan.

Obviously someone didn't do a very good job proofing that Ebay listing, it would be kinda hard getting that part to fit on the cars it says it's for!

Sorry guys, I just couldn't resist. Hey at least it wasn't as bad as the well known and loved by many guy on another forum that had his daughter post a message that her dad had died. He had been fighting big medical problems so many of us didn't think twice about him finally dying. It was April 1st. Faking your death- not cool.

Couldnt you just increase the Low pressure fuel pressure (different regulator, stronger in tank pump, etc)? I mean all pumps do is create a pressure differential more pressure on the input side means more pressure on the output side.

I was going to say, is that a V8 mechanical Fuel Pump? lol.

The ZZP info is slightly off on the ratings but I AM curious about getting that upgrade and trying full E85 on a bolted car again.

That was the whole point silly! I was searching on "Saturn Sky" and it came up in the results because it's supposed to fit the LNF's. I hope somebody with an old car doesn't really need one of those and can't find it 'cause it's posted wrong.

I know lol. I thought I read somewhere a while back that you had put a set of ZZP cams in with the upgraded fuel lobe. I asked if you could see better flow or anything in another thread a while back... maybe it wasnt you..

i looked into the 4 lobe cam drive regulator awhile back and it seems the ECM is hardcoded for the 3 lobe drive. Whatever can be done needs to work within this constraint.

I have .050 more lift on my 3 lobe cam. I am not sure if it is making any differences yet.

the best fix so far is the zzp cams with the modified lobe and putting a better in tank pump in. thats so far the best route, and i dont remember but i think someone tried a mega squirt or mega drip (sounds like one of those two) additional fuel injector setup in the mani but i dont recall the results.

tracking now, and exactly just have like 1 or 2 32lbers in the manifold for an adational harumph in the high range.

or just buy an lsj race block with ported head and run the tripple 90lber/runner setup for methanol race gas lolz
