    06 monte will not start after VCM flash

    I tryed to flash my VCM and it failed when it was wrighting it and now the car will not start. I tryed to re flash it but I keep getting the same problem I cant thing of the error message that I was getting. Any help to get the car running again is much appreciated.

    Can you post the file you were writing to the pcm when the write failed?
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    can do as soon as i get home, I also tryed to write the stock file to the pcm after it failed the first time.

    If its an E67 pcm did you do a write entire?
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    I dont know if it is a E67 pcm. I do know i have the 3.9l motor. I did not do a write entire.

    These pcm's require write entire otherwise you'll get a 1C0000 error which is covered in the help files troubleshooting section

    thank you, how do i know weather to use a "write entire" or "calibration only"

    E67's are the only ones that have had this issue and its fixed in the newest beta software. I just didn't want to confuse you before you at least got the vehicle up and running

    Car is up and running just fine thank you for all your help. I have the newest beta software one the way, but I would still like to know how to tell if a car has an E67 PCM.

    Calibration details window should say what pcm type it is using
