Tuning a 02 regal sc motor in a jeep.

Hey guys I'm not to familiar with tuning the v6 motors

My instructor and I moved a 02 regal gs supercharged 3.8 l motor into a 95 jeep yj.

Everything is up and running and durin my initial scans the fuel trims were way off.

I used the stft to dial the maf in but for some odd reason the adjusmtnetd never level out.

I rear that the ve table is not used.
So all I did was adjust the maf curve.

Do you really need to tune the ve?

Also the vehicle is a 5 speed.
It also has idle surging and there are no tables available for tuning the idle except idle speed.

Can someone give me a quick run down to get this thing tuned?

Even the stock tune was way off
Car has some shorty headers and a cai.

I am very familiar with tuning the v8's but the v6 has me baffled.

Murphinator has done some thing similar.
    See if He'll jump in.
The VE is used for reference. I have found when it's close the car "feels" better.
You should be using the LFT. for adjustments.
The Regal has been laid to rest..... rust
Now have an 06 Lucerne with the 3.8 and wishing HPT would cover that car

    Well
Fuel pressure in the #1 problem

My instructor installed a walboro and we are seeing 64psi at idle

So of course everything is all over the place

Any update on this? I've validated the IAC controls the idle but the computer doesn't pull the idle down automatically.
