    dies off idle 05gto 403ci ls2

    Hi guys, my car idles good, runs good, my only problem that if you go to accelerate from a stop it will dip rpm and die, I have experimented with everything and cant get it right, any help would be great.

    2005 gto
    403ci, 20psi magna charger
    90lb injectors, 4l80 with full manual valve body,
    3000 stall, gz vacumn pump, meth injection, twin 340 pumps,
    return style fuel system,

    That's usually from going way lean.

    yeah i thought that too, i tried changing it but really didnt improve anything

    Do you have a wideband? Do a log and watch the histogram to where and how much. If you dont have a wideband, you can still view your fuel trims in the histogram to where you need to adjust.

    Lug it in 5th gear at about 1000rpm and lay into the throttle. That will help you determine if it is lean and where.

    It is 4l80, I will try to lug it down to 1000 with converter locked and get back on it

    You should use the VE A/F error histogram.

    made it a little better but now surges when you let off gas when slowing down ugh! Runs good other than that

    Thats indefinite of either the converter locking/unlocking or the Running Airflow Table is set just a wee too low for in gear. Adjust those numbers for the in gear part up a little around the RPM it surges at.
