Would this also apply to a head and cam swap? What changes would be different if any? I put 706 heads on a 6.0 and also added a BTR stage 2 v2 cam.

I understand that a cam would need less fuel but I'm offsetting that with more compression, right?

OK so maybe someone can help me with this.

    I have a 5.3 retrofitted in a 56 nomad.

Injectors are DW 18U-01-0042-8 42 LBS injectors.

It has a comp cams Muther Thumper cam in it. ( NOt my doing )

I have tuned cams before and never had this much of an issue.

I cant even get this thing ti fire and idle at all.

I seem to only be getting 4 cylinders to fire and it is pig rich when trying to run.

When I open the throttle to 10% or 100% this thing will not even run at all.

Since I was having an issue I thought ill go back to basics and read any docs I can. What brought me to hear.

I followed the guide but this thing wont staty running. It fires like on 4 cylinders but no go.

I have verified all cylinders coils are firing and engine has compression.

Im lost on this one, even willing to pay for some help here.

I currently have no MAF installed either so it does not get in the way.

Attached are the tune and the cranking scan.

Doesn't look like you have the MAF failed.

Perhaps someone could take a look at my logs and offer any advice. I was having starting issues before I went through this process, It helped a ton!! However I still seem to have an issue where the vehicle hunts for rpm when shifting into gear. eventually it settles as long as I don't try to move. Any ideas where I went wrong?

    Build: 2001 S10, forged LQ4 bottom end, 243 heads, TBSS intake, 90mm sniper, 50# injectors, BTR stage 2 cam 227/235, 2800 stall converter with a 4l60

Updated the link in Post #113. Google drive updated security policies and the original link broke.

This is the process for a DBW correct. Lots of great info in this thread. I am soaking it up like a sponge.

I haven't completely read the whole thread, but it appears the original intent of this was for a DBC, not DBW throttle body. At least that's what is posted up front by the OP.

This is EXCITING SH#@! You've got me rubbing my legs like a cricket (still in box MPVI3). Thank you for the detailed how-to.. the absolute best I've ever seen (on a forum).
