    trip counter?

    Is there a parameter I can log to log how many miles Ive driven since the scan started? Almost like a trip counter. If not a direct parameter, is there one i can construct from mph, tire size, etc? Or something like Trans output shaft rpm. I dont know how I would calculate what I need to work with, like gear ratio, tire size, or whatever else.

    I haven't seen such PID.
    You may be able to make a formula to calculate how many miles using the available sensors and PID's related to speed, RPM, etc.

    Im totally baffled as how I would do this? Would I have to break down how many driveshaft revolutions are made PER each mile, and then somehow relate the trans output shaft sensor to it? It hurts my head to think about it. I know all of the variable #'s I would need, like tire size, gear ratios, etc. Just having trouble putting it together. Math wasn't really ever my forte'
