Exclamation Reduced power CAMARO 2010 HELP!

    Hello.

I have tried everything on a customers car (2010 Camaro SS A6 L99) with no success.

Power reduced mode pops up everytime at WOT/wheelspin/kickdown.

I have disabled everything that may cause it, but - no luck.
Car runs very good, except power reduced. This is an almost done tune.
Car has 427 cid fully built naturally aspirated LS3 without VVT, AFM, DoD.

No vacuum leaks, all sensors work, ignition works.

Maybe this original calibration has some "bug"?

    Tune file attached

    Thanks in advance

If you re-read your tune from the pcm, you will find you have no transmission parameter anymore.
When you flash it, the pcm don't communicate with tcm and throtlle body module.

Try it, and send me a beer to France !

    I had such problem on 2008 Escalade and 2008 Corvette C6 A6.

But they both had a harsh gear engagement after that.
Corvette was locked it 4th and didnt change any other gear.

Escalade showed transmission trouble code on a dash.

    But anyway- will try. Thanks

Tried it today. Went to test - everything was perfect. Tried any abuse on it. With and without TC.

But after 5 hour stay, tried agian and... Reduced Power again from 1st attempt...

But I was lucky to get some codes when doing this for the whole period of time.

    P1516

The truth is there no missfires. Maybe the misfire table is set too sensitive - car thinks that it misfires from a healthy cam and throws a Reduced power??

    Have you found any solution?

try to get rid of the misfires first, but the P1516 is worrying. Is this the original ECM that came with the vehicle?

    Yes, original.

I want to try oem tb tomorrow

ahh ok, that will explain it. If the TB is not stock then likely this is the problem.

P1516 is triggered by the TAC module (the 2nd CPU in the ECM). It is the same position test as the P2101, checks if the actual position is close enough to the desired position. Unfortunately we cannot edit the tolerance of this calibration.

I've tuned a few of these with NW 102s, never had an issue.

This is 2 separe problems in my opinion.
You solved the first by deconnecting the battery, now you re facing the real problem

    Fixed...

Please - never touch TB opening table to make 102mm TB less sensitive...
It was the cause or REP mode.
