Thread: Powerdex AFX w/ Pro interface.

    Powerdex AFX w/ Pro interface.

Simple question(s). The Powerdex AFX has a single lead (red) and a two wire ground (black) mated to a single "C" connecting tab.

Now, looking through the help files on the editor, it shows the lead (red) should be connected in either of the first four A/D ports. I'll use #1 for simplicity. However, what do I do with the two wires for ground? Should I split them and use ports #5 AND #6 to connect both wires independently or splice them together and connect them into just ONE of the ground ports?

    Thanks.

So, to summarize, all I have to do is to connect just those two wires (well, three if you count the two grounds) and setup the PID?

    A.

I may not understand your question here, but the red wire from the AFX gets a keyed +12V and the two black wires get grounded. The wires that go to the interface are the yellow and brown wires from the AFX harness.

You're high. Red is +12v, the two black are ground, yellow is the analog signal, and brown is the analog ground.

What I really wanted to know was what to do with the ground wires? From NGK, the ground(s) are together mated to one connector. I wanted to know if I just leave it like that or use the two ground ports on the pro interface.

Also, the yellow and brown are "pre-wired" into the harness.

Again, you're high. The free ends of the yellow and brown wires are taped down. Undo the tape and put the free ends into the green HP Tuners plug.

Both black grounds stay together and should share the same connection.
