98 c1500 tuning help

i purchased a 98 silverado with a vortec 350 it has already been tuned for the cam/heads,(by pervious owner) but they set the idle at about 900 rpm. id like to drop it down to about 650-700. can i do that with my hp tuners. ive never tuned on the older trucks... thanks for any help!!!

Yes you can do it but what size cam do you have ,50 duration and lobe Sep it might not want to idle that
low

The 96-99, 5.0-5.7 Vortecs cam timing is critical. I have found that they don't like more than 215' @ .050 and a min of 112 LC.
