g8 DoDdelete issues

did a dod delete on a 08 g8 went disabled DoD but when i start runs on 4cyl only. tach and speedo not fuctioning either.

Any suggestions

try write entire calibration. also need more info regarding what else have you changed?

did you retune back to previous file and everything was ok?

heads cam lts x pipe dod delete volant cai. put stock tune file in still only runs on 4 cecked all the sensor connections im at aloss

when it runs it sets 1-4-7-6 cylnder disable open code

just laid the old valley cover on top of the engine and plugged in the dod sensor and it hits on 8cyl. what gives.

Set P3401, P3425, P3441, and P3449 to 3 - No Error Reported and uncheck SES Enable.

To my understanding, you also have to change mechanical parts. Not just software... ie lifters, valley pan, etc..

ok wrote a tune I guess.still wont run on eight without the old valley plate connected,idle is low,hunting.attaching tune file see if im missing something.

I would try changing everything under the DoD section to stock except leaving it set as Disabled. Here are two vehicles that have had DoD deleted with a normal valley cover, and still don't have an issue.

let me pose this question.... I said before this thing has no dash, no lights no tach etc.

would that have anything to do with it? does anybody have a link to a schematic or a location for a fuse/relay for the dash circuit

I'm out of ideas to be honest. I've done the DoD delete tune on multiple vehicles and never run into this. When you disable the codes for the cylinders, what happens when you start the engine? I know you said it still runs on four cylinders but does it throw any other codes?

when you first start it it fires on eight then immediately goes to 4. going to run a scan

so its posting p3401 3425 3441 3449 intake valve control circuit open continuously.no other codes do i have to have some sort of loop around on the old connector to close that circuit

I've never physically done the change. Have you set those codes to 3 - No Error Reported and unchecked SES Enable?
