Thread: ANNOUNCING: The Ultimate Ford EFI Tuning Guide for HP Tuners

  1. #41
Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I just wanted to warn anyone who still may want to buy this guide. If you buy the digital copy you will only be able to use it on a very limited number of systems, so if you upgrade to a new version of windows, or have to reinstall after a nasty virus you may no longer be able to open the document.

The fact that after time, upgrading you computer will render the money spent on this guide a waste, I would recommend looking for a different guide.

It is an informative guide with a lot of information, but if you are looking for help on any anything using the copperhead pcm, you will be disappointed.

That one is nearly this same.

If someone is looking for etc, speed density, transient and tranny, it also lack of this information (Eric, only hope in You).

But its good starting point for novice.

Sorry to revive a super old thread, but I just wanted to get some insight on this book from anyone who may have read it. I have an 06 Procharged 3 valve, and I was wanting to know if this will give me the tools to take a crack at tuning it myself. Any info is appreciated !

I have both, Binary Editor and HPTuners, is the tuning information similar for both books, so it would be enough to buy just one. HPtuners software is easier to use for me, so I think BE book would be better for me.

Is this 7 year old text still relevant, for ecoboost as an example?
