    File Validation Fail?

Hi everyone. I have a 2010 2500HD LMM and I am having issues hooking up my hptuners to the truck. It connects with the scan tool, but the editor will pull the ecm file but it fails a validation check and I cant edit it. I can save it also but cant open it. Both times its a file validation check?

Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

    thanks

I hope someone can answer this. I have the same truck and the same problem. I took it to the dealer and had it flashed with Tech2 to verify it was a stock file. Still get Vailidation fail.

I'm having the same problem on a 07 GMC gas 5.3L. Was told by Bill it was programmed by something else and needed to be flashed with a Tech2. The customer had that done and apparently wasted his money because I get the same error after having that done. Can read file, save file, and get the error in the pic when you try and open it. And then they all leave for a week and provide no support.

    A friend of mine said

Read entire. If no good do a write entire with a known good file. Only had it happen on my stuff that was already tuned up. Be careful cus you can brick it.
So how would I go about using a known good file? Should I change the vin?

Using the latest BETA as of 4/6/2012 did not solve my problem with the 07 Gas truck.
