    '04 CTS help

I'm used to tuning the old Jbody engines and not this Caddy.

Looking to get rid of the Catalyst efficiency low code.

I replaced the cat with an aftermarket one and still have the damn code.

Need to pass emissions ASAP. I'll fix it right later, I cant renew plates until its fixed.

I did the mil off ignition on option or something like that. but fail due to readiness check.
    It had like 7 options

On the older ECM you just select no mil reported and your golden.

    What am I missing?

So does the silence mean no one knows, or no one wants to help?

Option 3 for this particular PCM is not "No Error Reported"

Option 3 is what EVERY code is set to - MIL ON (x cycles)

    The choices are as follows:

    0 - Disabled
1 - Misfire Detect (MIL Blink)
2 - Misfire Detect (MIL On x cycles)
    3 - MIL On (x cycles)
    4 - MIL On (after 5 seconds)
5 - MIL Off (Stored Fault)
6 - MIL Off (Remove after x cycles)
    7- Fault with Service Tester
10 - Misfire Detect (MIL, No Blink)
    11 - Fuel Supply System
12 - Driveability Fault (Non Emiss.)
    13 - Driveability Fault (Emiss.)
    21 - MIL On (after 5 seconds)

Current setting in this car to attempt passing was option 6.

There ya go T-Bird. My searching last night resulted in nada.

I guess we could just start trying them...

It's the readiness monitors that are screwing us...

How long should it take for the readiness to show up?
Any one know the # of key cycles? or what ever criteria needs to be met?

We can check readiness state with the HP suite...

It would be nice if one of the HPT guys chimed in...
