    A4 TCC

I have the 2001 Grand prix GTP
what does the TCC apply/release speed vs. %TPS vs. Gear do? What happens when I increase the values to 255?

    Re: A4 TCC

these define the speed at which the TCC will apply for a given gear and throttle %.

Setting it to 255 means it will not apply, unless you reach 255 mph...

    Re: A4 TCC

What is the TCC for? Does save gas or ease up on trans or something? If I use 255 across the board will it hurt the trans?

    Re: A4 TCC

TCC is the torque converter clutch. When applied it effectively provdes a solid link between the crank and the trans input (ie. eliminating the torque converter slip).

Mostly used for fuel economy benefits while cruising. I don't see any reason to disable lockup for cruising.
