Hello. Can you expand on what limiting the max RPM threshold to 0 would accomplish? Is this in reference to disabling the top speed limiter or something else?

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the afm. as in if I wanted to one set further than just changing the enable/disable in the drop down box, I could also set the rpm to 0 so it was off for 2 reasons.

I only did the drop down and it worked great.

the speed limited is talked about in another thread. I will try to find it

I feel like if you want to raise the speed limit it would be worth email to hp to ask if it is correct before you try it incase he is correct and it points at the wrong perimeter

Thanks for the replies! I appreciate it.

Did you tune anything else on your hybrid aside from AFM delete? The whole reason I am thinking to tune instead of use the plug-in module is that I'm being told that the plug-in module doesn't actually work unless you wait to plug it in after you've started the vehicle and have it in gear. Sounds like a fun routine every time you drive the truck! Yeah, uh...no thanks.

I adjusted my speedo to correct for tire size and turned off the afm. that's all I did.

I think it's worth it over the plug in range extender thing. maybe if you can find a used v1. on a board for sale somewhere?

if you do turn off afm. I suggest doing the rest of the oil block off to it. it's like a 7$. part and then clipping the gasket under the vlom. after that it should be solid for years.

this guy explains it pretty well
he's wrong when he says hp doesn't work with the hybrids. it 100% does, it's just labeled backwards.

but his vlom mod and clipping the gasket it worth doing to me.
