    Slight off idle bog

    Background:

    1999 4.3 S10
    Marine MPFI intake
    MotoTron 60# injectors
    SyTy manifolds/turbo, etc

    Symptoms:

Under medium (and probably heavy) throttle load immediately off idle,
there's a bog before the RPMs kick in and then everything runs great.

How do I troubleshoot? What variables should I monitor or tweak?

    Thanks!

Post the log and current tune bud, it'll get figured out. Just get a log with the built in config for now. Once we see a scan we can figure out what else is needed to try and help

I probably can't get it done until next week, but I will do that. Thanks!

Ok, I finally got around to grabbing some quick logs.
My latest tune and a few logs from today attached.

I certainly don't know what I'm doing, but looking at
it my GUESS is something to do with the timing being
pulled so much immediately upon hitting the throttle?

If that's an issue, is it related to "Burst Knock Retard"?

    Just tossing around ideas?

I would assume once your MAFand VE ( if you want to) is tuned you need to start tuning AE and DE. There is a thread not to far from this one that has a link for a "how to tune AE and DE". It will help with that bog your talking about. I have not done this but the OP of the thread found out that tuning AE and DE helped with bogging.

My truck doesn't have any AE and DE tables. Seriously.
