    swapping v6 to v8, later...

I bought an LS1 to swap into my current '98 v6 car.

But I won't do the swap until this fall, most likely.

I thought about waiting to buy VCM until the swap is done. Or buying the v6 VCM now, and trying to sell it at a loss later, like $100 off or something....

Then I started wondering if you all had thought about offering a trade-in deal. If I bought the v6 VCM now, and used it for 6 months, what do you think about letting me trade it in on a v8 VCM (same year) after I finish the engine swap?

    Welcome to the board John.

We do not offer trade-in specials at this time.

    You have several options.

You can buy VCM Suite for your V6 and then sell the package when you upgrade to the V8. Our product is not VIN locked and can be used on any model/year that you purchased it for.

You can buy VCM Suite for the V6 and then add the V8 support at a later date for $399.

    Thanks.
