Arrow Search and Share your .bin files

You can search for different .bin files from different cars/trucks and also upload your own here:
    http://www.horist.com/hptuner/

    As per Horist:
If you have any .bin files to share please do, the more we have the more help it will be for others wanting to tune on their own and see some examples on similar setups.

Please remember that when submitting your .bin file be as descriptive as possible, the more information you include the better it is for searching... and the more it will help other users.

Re: Search and Share your .bin files

Guys I've got a question, probable really dumb but here goes...

If I scan and get the relevent info from a vehicle that is stock but has already been flashed with a good tune, can I copy/paste into my vcm....
If so witch files would be relevent......... :huh2:

I don't want to cheat but this would be a good way to see which way to head towards..

Just scanning the car would tell you if IT needs any adjustments but I don't think you can really use that info to modify your tune... would have to have his PCM read

You can copy and paste any table from any of the .bins you find on that site, you just cant try and flash the computer with a different .bin. I think that's what you are trying to ask but if not please rephrase the question a little so I can understand it better.

BTW:It's not cheating, it's smart. Just be careful and make sure you aren't doing something stupid like copying a spark table that has 40* of timing everywhere or something like that. Make sure the table makes sense.

Yeah, download it from the website in this post and open it with the VCM Editor. You can't save any modifications you make to it, but you can view it and make those mods to your bin file if you wish.

yup, can't use them since they are .tun files ... also I'd rather have people donate their bins for everyone than take compilations that others have put together ... I'll see what I can do about getting some holden files

Yes, .BIN files can only be opened and viewed with HPTuners Editor. HPTunes log files can be translated to excel. You need to export the data to a .CSV file in order to import them into Excel. You cannot use excel to view .BIN files.

    2006 Corvette LS7 binary file???

My computer won't let me open this file because it cannot find the program that created it, or something like that. Help! I think this is the information I need to program my 2001 LS1 PCM to run a 2006 LS7 engine.
'88 BMW M3, bone stock appearing inside and out except for wheels/tires, exhaust pipe tips and, of course, the engine compartment. 2001, LS1/6, Camaro T56, 222/226 @ .050, .570/.570, LS6 intake, ported oil pump and heads, 400 + hp, 4.10 ltd. slip diff, '01 M Roadster front & rear suspension/brakes, GC coil-over, adjustable Konis, 2700#, daily driver road rocket. Still thinking of dropping an LS7 in.

Do I have to buy HPTuners software before I can download binary files, like the 2006 LS7 bin. files, from this site?

replied to your post on tech... also something to keep in mind...
    A 2005 LS2 motor can run an LS1 PCM w/tweaking

A 2006 LS2/LS7 motor CAN NOT run an LS1 PCM ... the reluctor ring on the crank is 2x the resolution ... so a 2006 motor you MUST run a 2006 PCM (maybe 200t will work but not sure)

2005 motors from my understanding are the only ones that can still use an LS1 PCM
