    3800 Scanner Issues

Guys I having a problem with the Scanner/Config files My Tuning computer died it was running Windows XP and was all set up and ran without any problems......so i bought a new Tuning Computer with Windows7 and having major issues.

I am using Beta 2.23.576 if that matters
In the scanner can not log the following

    Injector Pulse width bank 1
    MAP
    Calculated Cylinder Air

They all report at "unsupported paramater".

The Config file is below. I need the Calc Cyl Air for alot of the histograms

Have you been connected to the vehicle to populate all the available pids?

Yup I have connected to the Car, logged a file, and then realized that the Paramaters were unsupported

You clearly are NOT logging injector pulse width bank 1 nor manifold air pressure in this config
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Bill, I understand. I am trying to log them, and i cannot get them to display.

In "insert parameters" I have the PID list, AUX input list and then User defined.

The Inj bank 1, MAP and the Cyl Air do not show up in the PID List.

    How do i add them

Right click on an empty slot in the table display- insert pid

I add them to the spot, but when connected to the car, they become unsupported. I KNOW they worked before the computer switch. Is there something

At the Bottom of the window for the PIDs it says
SOURCE: AUX and Size 0 for the Cyl Air, Duty cycle ....but if I insert anything else it comes SOURCE: ECM Size 1?

    What is that about

Why are you trying to add then to the analog inputs portion of the table? Unless you are using an analog input ie your own sensor that you've added that has a 0-5v output(which I highly doubt).

My advice would be to watch the demo's and read the help file over before going much farther and hurting something.

Bill, that is what im trying to figure out. I am not adding them to the Analog inputs, I am trying to add them as PIDs

I need to Not have them as the User Defined, and i need them in the PID list. This happened when i switched to Beta, and Win7. I cant see them in the PID list. I need the setup as it was before when it worked perfect.

They are definitely there in the pid list.
