How can I tell if I'm gonna kill my PCM?

If I make certain changes to my PCM, how would I know if it would be bad or not? In otherwords if I change something in my program can someone on here check it before I burn it?

The possibility of hurting the PCM is slim to none. As
long as you don't loose communication during the reflash
you shouldn't have any problems. Even if you do loose
communication you have a good chance of not screwing
the computer up. The battery on my laptop died one time
when I first got the HPT when I was at like 18%. I thought
the computer was done. When I plugged the laptop in to
the wall and tried to reflash it worked fine.

Now, as far as what parameters you are flashing to the
    PCM, that’s a different issue…

Yeah that's actually what I meant is there a way to check if my changes are gonna screw up my engine. I've gotten a few suggestions about what to change I'm just not sure enough to burn them to my PCM.

Again thanks for looking at this for me, Will this help my car from searching for an idle, and bucking(lurching) under low RPMs? Sometimes it drops RPMs through the floor,(500) or so and just about dies, and I have to rev the motor a bit to bring them back up. 8)
