    First steps for a newbie

    Good Day!

Looking for place to start. Is there a basic guide? I saw some info on the LS1Edit site.

    i.e.

    1) Set fan temp for 160 degree thermostat and allow the system to reach steady state over a few days.

    2) Adjust LTFT to be approx. negative 5 by scaling the MAF table (should the IFR be tweaked as well?)

    3) WOT tuning using ???

The MAF table is a more advanced way of getting your LTFT's slightly negative. The IFR table is the easiest way to achieve the desired results when first starting out while learning. WOT fueling is done in the PE tables. You will also want to try to eliminate any knock you may experience. Read the help files and study the forums here, ls1tech, and ls1tuning and you will be on your way to getting a good tune.

    Thanks!

I recently noticed that the V1.5 help manual has a section on modifying the VE tables as well.
