    2003 Cav Ecotec with stage 2 SC and #42s

    2003 Cav Ecotec with stage 2 SC and #42s

    Trying to make a Safe (low timing etc) Fake 2Bar Canned tune so the customer can can (tenderly) 2 hours to the shop.

    Never done a Fake 2 Bar and this is my first Ecotec I am going to tune.

    As far as Safe 2Bar tunes, How does this look?

    Be gently but honest lol got most of the Fake 2 Bar info from here(repository) and jbody.org

    Since the fueling is Alfa-N, a fake 2 bar is of no value.

    Some seem to have run well on it and I wanted to try and test it out, but for now We are going back 1 bar.

    I think this should be a safe canned tune to get him here, took a fair bit of timing out, changed inj constant raised the ve offset and ve

    Note when you raised the VE offset to 60, that is now the lowest value the VE tables will allow. I'm sure the AFR will be too rich as is.

    tell the owner to ziptie the bypass butterfly open and take it easy. kind of an asshole way to do it, but your options look limited.

    I agree. Stock tune is even safe if the owner can stay off the throttle.

    I also agree that fake 2 bar is a waste. 1 bar works well for a supercharger setup.
