No Start on E85 w/ Large Injectors
I have been running E85 on a 442 LS engine with 60# high Z injectors with no problem. I have switched to a larger 492 LSX with 95# low Z injectors. I have an AEM injector driver in the system to run the larger injectors.
I have changed the IFR table to reflect the 95# injectors (109.7# at 4bar) and changed the displacement to match the larger engine. The problem is I get no start when cranking. It did light off for one second when the fuel pump was off. I am showing 3.5ms while cranking and I can smell the E85 in the exhaust.
The fact that it lit off for a second with no fuel pressure tells me that ignition and injectors are working properly and it must be in the tune. With the fuel pressure on I don't even get a pop...
Seems like it might be rich but the plugs are dry. Any suggestions on where to start?
